Help with Las Vegas restaurant decisions...
I have looked at so many different websites and am still having a hard time deciding where to eat while we are there. I would really appreciate any suggestions. We are staying at the Venetian, and would like to go somewhere fairly nice on Saturday night. On Sunday, we are going to O, so we would like to go somewhere nice, but not terribly expensive and maybe in the Bellagio area. Here's a list of what I've considered: Olives, Chinois, Commander's Palace, Spago, Circo, Postrio, Pinot Brasserie. I would appreciate any other thoughts. I think on Saturday night we would like to eat in the Paris, Aladdin, Caesars, Bellagio area and on Sunday the Bellagio, Mirage, Venetian area. Thanks for your help.

My wife and I stayed at the Venetian in September and Bellagio in March. <BR>Frankly, the choices at either one are good and really just a matter of prefence on price/type of food. (Expensive is a relative term as well. We live in NYC and did not find them expensive. Expect at a nice restuarant in Bellagio to pay between $20 and $30 for an entree.) <BR>At Venetian, the restaurants in St. Marks Square (don't recall the names) were both very good and a fun Vegas thing to do. <BR>At Bellagio, the buffet is well worth the cost. It is much less crowded at lunch than dinner. <BR>The restaurants at Bellagio are not cheap. I've had great meals at Circo and Prime Steakhouse. <BR>

Commanders Palace prices are very high, and it is in a different price range than the other restaurants you mentioned. Not sure I would recommend it--food was fine, not exceptional.

Mon Ami Gabi in Paris is really good!. I don't know when you are going to Vegas, but they have an outside terrace which overlooks the Bellagio Fountains. My parents ate there and liked it alot. Pinot Brasserie in the Venetian is also a good choice, as is Canelletos. Bellagio restaurants are pricey, IMHO, Olives is not worth it. Circo was OK, nice view of the fountains. If you want a dining experience, go to Picasso for the tasting menu. Yum.

Circo rocks! <BR> <BR>For a Saturday night I'd be sure to make a reservation a couple of weeks in advance, though. <BR> <BR>Ask for a window table when you reserve, and be sure to remind the Maitre'd.
