help with itinerary

I am planning a family trip. I need some assistance with my itinerary, I am staying in Las Vegas for 2 days and then going to Zion, staying the night and then going to Bryce where we will stay 2 nights. Next to Lake Powell for 2 nights and then back to Las Vegas. I have planned to rent a boat in Lake Powell, but am looking for suggestions for sights inbetween Bryce and Lake Powell and Zion and Bryce. I would love to go to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes but am not sure where to fit it in. Thanks.

Hi Jill,

Honestly, your time at each park is so short, that I don't think you'll have time for sights in between.

The Coral Sand Dunes are a very short southern detour out of Zion, so you could see them on the way to Bryce.

Have fun.

Spend more time in Zion. There is so much to see there. Get out and walk around a little. Rent a bike or rent an intertube in Springdale and go tubing in the Virgin River.

Utahtea

I agree it is a short time. Of the three places you mentioned I would spend a little less time at lake powell & more at the others.

A trip to Lake Powell is worthwhile. You might consider touring a slot canyon--the neat narrow, orange colored canyons you see in alot of SW pictures and also in TV commercials. I believe you can take a 1/2 day for about $25 person. Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon near Lake Powell. Monument Valley is also close by. Although somewhat touristy, it is very beautiful and worth seeing. I really enjoyed it. If you are in a fairly sturdy vehicle you can do a self guided tour.
