Help with food with Autism

Hi,
I need a little help I’m traveling with someone who is high functioning. Would not know he was on the spectrum. He’s super picky with food ( hamburgers, French fries, chicken strips).
we are staying at the Westin New Orleans. Can anyone recommend any food places that have that on the menu but still food for me and the rest of the group to eat. We are not as picky as him just no raw fish ( sushi)

thank you in advance

Go to the restaurant of your choice and ask the chef if he can fix something that would suit him.
NOLA is too great for food not to enjoy what you can.

Be careful not to make food an issue. If it becomes a topic of conversation, it can blow up out of proportion.
If your friend wants cheeseburgers and chicken tenders, those are found most places. Good luck.

Almost all restaurants have their menus online these days. Look at them in advance :-)

I love the food in NOLA! I would go back just for food, but a heads up on even simple food like fries, etc. Often they came already seasoned and spicy, so be sure to ask for unseasoned unless he would enjoy the spice. DH likes plain food without much spice and really does not like Cajun spices, so he had a tough time when he would forget to ask. He never expected fries to be so spicy. Mayo dressing on the fries was also spicy (and wonderful to me), but not for someone who likes plain.

Thank you so much for the advice, I never even considered that, I will let him know. Thank you for giving me advice and not just say google or what not, as I would have never thought of fries being seasoned.
