HELP WITH EXCURSIONS!!
 

My family and I are going on an Alaska cruise on Royal Caribbean in July 2006, and WE NEED HELP WITH WHICH EXCURSIONS!! We can't do too many expensive ones, the dog sledding is out of the question, but we need ideas soon! Thanks!! :)

Where are you stopping? What are your choices for excursions?

In some ports, there are interesting things to do that aren't outrageously expensive.

For example, in Juneau, you can get to Mendenhall Glacier, tour the exhibits, see the movie, view the glacier, and do some hiking. you can also visit the excellent Alaska State Museum, and take the tram up to Mt. Roberts.

You need to look over a shore excursion list and narrow down your interests. There are way too many excellent Alaska tours to recommend. List your ports and consider at least one "costly" tour- flightseeing is spectacular.

Budget Queen, what are you doing up so early? Couldn't sleep too?
