Help with beach front rental in kauai
 

My husband and I would like to rent a condo in Kauai that's located right on the beach where you can walk right out and you're on the beach. I've looked at web sites and there's plenty of condos for rent with ocean views but none of them seem to be situated right on the beach. Hoping that someone out there knows a web site or has stayed in such a condo.

I think Poipu or Princeville would probably be the ideal. Can anyone help, if not right on the beach, I'll take suggestions of a condo with nice ocean views.

Hanalei Colony Resort is beachfront on the North shore, not really a good spot to swim but great for walking the beach. it is close to Tunnels beach, Ke'e beach (end of road/start of Na Pali trail), Limahuli garden, and in the other direction Hanalei town. aerial view and link to HCR site http://www.wizardpub.com/kauai/krhanaleicol.html

We love the Sealodge Condos in Princeville! The Sealodge are situated on a bluff looking out onto the ocean. There are beautiful beaches not far at all from these condos.

We also went to Kauai four years ago. We split our time by staying at the Sealodge on the North Shore (Princeville) then staying at Kuhio Shores on the South Shore (Poipu). We stayed in this unit at the Kuhio Shores:http://www.kuhio-shores.com/KS213.html These condos may not be on the beach but are right at the ocean. Just beautiful!

In Poipu, both Kiahuna (a beautiful condo development) and the Marriott Waiohai (a very lovely timeshare resort with all 2 BDR units) have some units that are beachfront You have to look at the property maps to see which buildings are actually on the beach.

look on vrbo under anini beach. many of those cottages are located right on (across the street) from anini.
