Help with a last minute hotel reservation in San Francisco

We need to book a hotel for midweek this week. Does anyone have any suggestions??? So far everywhere I call they are booked. We are a family of 4. Kids are 22 and 12.
Any help is very appreciated!!!

Try hotels.com. Everything can be arranged and prepaid online. You might consider accommodations near the airport. It's cheaper and only a 10 minute drive to the City. Of course, you then will have to pay for parking in SF, but a parking garage won't be anymore than overnight parking that hotels charge.

Is there a reason you posted this twice. You already have several suggestions for the same question and it is only listed down a couple posts from the top, so it shouldn't have been hard to find. REposting the same question doesn't really mean you'll get more answers.

I'd agree that since most everything is filled, your best bet is to go to one of the major websites like hotels.com and see what they find for you that is available. With thousands of hotels in SF, you could drive yourself crazy checking them all one by one only to find most of them full.

You might try priceline.com too.

Also, if you can't find anything on that, as previous poster suggested, you might be able to find something at the airport. Wouldn't even need a car--BART is right there and easy to take.

Try looking at http://www.quikbook.com they are another reliable hotel booking site with reasonable rates.

If using Priceline, I would consider getting two rooms - they are pretty cheap and otherwise you run a risk of not having enough space.
