HELP! Where should we have Thanksgiving Dinner in Key West???
Hi everyone! Thanks in advance for all of your responses! My fiance' and I are getting married in Key West on the Friday after Thanksgiving this year. Both of our families are joining us, and we really need a recommendation for a place to have a Thanksgiving dinner! We would prefer a place that will have "traditional" Thanksgiving fare, as well, possibly, as seafood, or other local cuisine. Can someone please give us the name of a place or two? Thanks! :)

Pepe's on caroline Street serves traditional Thanksgiving dinner as well as other things - meat, seafood, but they get crowded then and last time I had Thanksgiving dinner there it was a 90 minute wait. You could put your names in and go across the street to one of the bars at the Key West Bight for a drink.
Other places to try would be the Rooftop Cafe on Front Street and Alonzo's at the Bight. Pjk |
We really liked Mangoes so you might check there. If you want upscale, you could try the Marquesa.

One thing about Key West is, you need to go w/the flow. You have chosen (IMHO) the absolute best time to visit, nothing wrong w/starting your own, new tradition - Like stone crab & lobster for Thanksgiving dinner.

The big hotels always do fabulous Thanksgiving buffets of traditional fare as well as local seafood -- with a water view for scenery. Truly a treat of excess for all the senses on a day of indulgence. My favorites are the Hyatt on the Gulf or Casa Marina on the Atlantic. You'll definitely need reservations. Because of demand, they do it by "seatings" at given intervals.
