Help! Palace Hotel vs. the Fairmont vs the St. Francis...which would *you* choose & why??

One last vote against St. Francis for any future travelers - think Grand Central Station. Room the size of a closet. Indifferent staff. The Heavenly Bed- not sure you can find heaven next to an elevator shaft, looking out to the view of the next building 10 feet away!
