Help needed: Charleston family accommodations for Thanksgiving

We are planning a Thanksgiving trip to Charleston for Nov. 21-26 and are looking for a carriage house or similar rental (something with a kitchen) in the historic district. Our party will include me, my husband, and my sister and her husband and their four children (ages 10-16 and very well-behaved), so we'd like four bedrooms, at least. Any suggestions?

Have you tried VRBO?

If you can't find a rental, The Lodge Alley Inn has kitchens and the Doubletree has large suites with kitchenettes.

www.VRBO.com will probably be your best bet or contact a Charleston Realtor.

marysmommy - Please post a followup on Jacobson house if you end up staying there. Would be interested in your experience. Alos post your results if you stay somewhere else as we are forever planning a trip there but this time with our family and would like to stay in an apartment or pool house or guest house.
