Help me out with the RIO LV
Is is worth my time to stay here? What are the strip view rooms like. Thanks.

as compared to....?
|
Strip view rooms on a high floor afford you a view over the highway to the strip but the back of all the hotels, Ceasars, Bellagio, etc. But it is still a good view. At night those lights are amazing. Days, you can see forever to the mountains and seemingly beyond.
For the price, I think the Rio can be a great deal..we stayed there a few times when we first started going to LV.. |
I've only stayed there once, but it's a room that faces I-15 and the strip. Nice view of all the other casinos and some billboards along I-15.
The room is very large. It's not a real suite as there's no compartment, but very large sitting area - the room is basically twice the size of most hotels'. There's also a tiny frosty window in the bathroom which you can look through the main room and out. Well appointed, large TV, decent furnitre and bathroom. |
I've got some pictures of a room at the RIO up at http://community.webshots.com/user/bookhall . Go down to the NV Valley of Fire album, and the LV pix are on the bottom.
I think the rooms are rated by size, rather than view. Not quite sure whether it's "worth your time" or not. We thought it was a great room at a great price. |
