Help me get around Fremont (Seattle) without a car

Hi,

Are there any locals out there that can help me? I want to plan a route around Fremont where I can eat lunch at Paseo and then walk around and enjoy the local art etc. Is there an easy way to do this by foot and bus?

Thanks

Take bus #28 from 3rd Ave and Pike St in the heart of the downtown shopping district. Get off at about N 36th St and Fremont Ave N. You won't have any trouble seeing what's what in the neighborhood.

Paseo is about six blocks north on Fremont Ave N.

Enjoy, HTTY

Where is a good place to eat other than Paseo? I am going to go look around on a Monday (then go back to Paseo another day)

We like 35th Street Bistro, which is located in the heart of things: http://www.35bistro.com/menus

I've never been to 35th SStreet Bistro, but it gets great recommendations (and is slightly on the pricey side).

Any chance you like beer? If so, Brouwer's has to be on your list. Fantastic Belgian beer bar, and you can have lunch there too.

Other casual suggestions would be Jai Thai (thai) or El Camino (mexican). Chiso's is a little pricey but has fabulous sushi...open for dinner only. Blue C Sushi is open for lunch if you like sushi served on a conveyor belt. :)
