Help me choose between these Las Vegas Restaurants (Or Suggest Another)
We're looking at Aureole, Renoir, or Picasso. What do you think is the best in terms of food? Or, suggest your favorite.

Aureole is o.k. The food is nothing special but wine display and how they retrieve bottles is really neat.
Renoir is good. Maybe a little hit or miss but not a bad choice.
Picasso is very good and the best out there. But very pricey and very hard to get a reservation but it would be my first choice.

Picasso hands down.

Robert, I hope you're not trying to say that Aqua is the best restaurant in the world outside Paris, France!?
(That's how your message reads).
You'll be crucified if you try to defend that one.
Aqua is simply a knock off of Aqua in SF, and while very good, it's not even as good as its parent. Heck, if you read Bellagio's website ad for Aqua they even state "you'll feel just as if you're dining in the Bay Area".

Kind of funny if you think about it. "Come eat at our restaurant so you can feel like you're not really here but somewhere else". Which is what LV is all about in the first place. Pretending. Which Aqua does very well.

Of the three you mentioned, I'd say Picasso. However, both my wife and I thought it was underwhelming and we found Le Cirque to be more enjoyable.

The food was comparable at both. In our opinion, Le Cirque gets the nod because its menu is more extensive and it has a much higher service level.

Robert, instead of going to dinner 7 nights a week, might I suggest that you spend one night a week attending a class on grammer and punctuation. To make the claim that Aqua is best restaurant in America is either a joke or a serious lack of judgement.

My vote goes to Picasso. Get there a little early and ask the maitre d' for a table up front with a great view of the fountains.
|
Picasso w/o a doubt.

Thanks for posting the question. I have been facing the same issue over the past week for an anniversary dinner. In the end, I chose Picasso, mainly because we are staying at the Bellagio. These posts help me feel more secure in my choice. At the same time, I think whatever you choose will be outstanding. Ask the concierge at the hotel to help you.

I prefer Red Square &/or Andres over any of the places mentioned.

Don't sweat the folks on the board who like to give people a hard time about their spelling. If they don't have more to do with their time than point out these types of things, they're not worth worrying about.

As for food in Vegas, I appreciate the input (even though I didn't pose the question). My wife and I are going, and it's her first time there. I've been trying to pick a couple of nice places, and this post helps.
