HELP! Good Restaurant in Denver area with a view???

I am hosting a few customers next Tuesday and since we are all flying in from Dallas, I would like to go somewhere with a view of those spectacular mountains.
Last month we had dinner at the Chautauqua Dining Hall which was really beautiful. The food was just ok... but the view and price made it a good choice.
The highly exotic menu at The Fort is not too appealing. I would prefer similar cuisine as Chautauqua, but better quality.
The biggest problem is that we can only leave the airport (DEN) at 645pm. I'd like to be seated for dinner by 745pm, so it needs to be within a 50 minute drive from the airport.
If I have to, I would certainly consider something like Sushi Den. If I must go downtown, I would prefer somewhere with a rooftop patio for a view. We will have other events at Tamayo.
Last but not least, one of my customers has requested that the restaurant NOT be Italian.
I will be conducting some business during the meal, so I am hoping the place is not really dark. Sushi Den was so cramped... packed like raw sardines you might say, it could be a problem.
I hope that is enough information.
Thanks a million!

How about the Flagstaff House, also in Boulder?

I have heard that the bar/lounge area in the new Grand Hyatt Denver has a fantastic view of the mountains. You may want to give them a call and ask if their restaurant has similar views.

The Highlands Garden Cafe is very nice for outdoor dining. There are no views, but dining in their garden is very enjoyable if the weather is nice.

Hopefully you will receive a few more suggestions. Good luck!

How about The Fort, outside Morrison. City views from the site are terrific (f mostly outside), the food is terrific (and includes bison, fresh fish, big game, all kinds of meat)and it's right up against the mountains. Go early for cocktails at sunset.

Well, actually the sun is setting later now, so that's probably not possible!

Great view and okay food would be the Chart House on Genesee. It is in the foothills and just off I-70 so could be reached in your time frame. Great views down the mountain of Denver and of the Rockies.
