Help for first time trip with family

My husband and I are bringing our three children to Chicago the last weekend in Apr. Where could we stay, prime location, very nice, where he and I could have one bedroom and the kds in another?

The majority of hotels will be able to offer you adjoining rooms, you can keep the door between you open or you can close it.

Hi -- there are lots of good hotels along the Michigan Avenue area. Check out Homewood Suites or Doubletree Guest Suites. Both have indoor pools and are close to shopping, restaurants, etc. Have fun -- it's a great city for kids!<BR>

It would be much more economical if you stay in a suite hotel rather than getting two rooms. This is of course, if your kids don't mind sleeping on a soffa-sleeper. Some, suggestions: Embassy Suites (2 locations), Homewood Suties, Doubletree Suites, and Residence Inn. All of these hotels have rooms that accomadate 6(two queens, and a sofa sleeper). Generally, you will save close to 80% off of two standard rooms.

If you go to Priceline you can probably get two rooms in a very nice magnificent mile hotel for around $50-60 a night for each room, most hotels in the area I would think have adjoining rooms. Your kids will have a great time. If you book the Embassy Suites directly it will probably be about the same price for one room, and you might accidently get the Embassy Suites bidding on Priceline. Check www.biddingfortravel.com (excellent site to discover the Pricelines prices people have bid.
