Help: Find me a Sunbelt city that is not facing sprawl and rapid population growth

My wife wants to move to the sunbelt but I do not want to live in a city that has lots of sprawl and traffic from rapid population growth.

Is there anyplace in the sunbelt (over 100,000 in population) that does not have rapid sprawl and heavy traffic from rapid population growth?

Those were not cities, they were small towns. Jerry is right, everyone complains about specific cities in the sunbelt having lots of sprawl and traffic, but it is a problem in all cities in the south.

Try living on site at a Louisianna refinery. After you die of cancer we won't have to worry about you or your precious wife. Two fewer morons of the world to deal with - the human gene pool is now a better place.
