We just returned from Maui and enjoyed the Old Lahaina Luau. We wanted to go to one luau and chose this one based on comments I read here. It was a great show and we (me, my husband, 10 and 12 year old children)really enjoyed it. The food was OK, but I don't see the attraction of poi! The setting was beautiful and the sunrise before the show started was spectacular. If you go to this luau, book seating 'Hawaiian style' -you sit on cushions at a very low table. These tables seat 8 and are right up next to the stage so you can see the show very well. I don't think I would spend the money again for a luau, but it's something everyone should probably do once!
