Help! Babymoon suggestions for July/August?

Looking to plan a nice relaxing babymoon in late July / early August. I want gorgeous hotel with spa and not too long of a flight (I'm in NYC). Weather is iffy for Caribbean, so any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Mexico?
Coastal New England?

Appreciate the help!!

For coastal New England, take the train to Mystic CT.
Stay in the US just in case of any complications.

You can fly into Cancun and head south, lots of nice hotels there, most have spas.
California would be nice, about a 4.5 hour flight, not sure what you consider long.

Weather is "iffy" in Mexican coastal resorts that time of year as well.

You mentioned "coastal New England"... but what about in the mountains on a lake. I don't have anywhere specific to recommend but Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, all have some spectacular scenery.

Um, how far along will you be? If 7+ months, flying is iffy. Discouraged by your docs, and by the airlines.

Why is weather iffy for Carib then? "Hurricane season" is not until late August/early September and the western Caribbean gets a small fraction of the storms that the eastern Carib endures. Your likelihood of a monsoon in Mexico is small.

It's rainy season in coastal Mexico, that's why.

I'll be end of 5 months, so flying is still ok. From research I've done it looks as though Hurricane Season technically starts in June for Caribbean.

Thanks for all of the tips! I think I'm going to start looking into New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine!

hey, how about the Berkshires?
