Hells Gate to Sawtooth
 

We have a short road trip planned for Idaho...
Day 1 - SLC to Shoshone Falls
Day 2 - Hagerman's Fossil beds and then we want to camp somewhere north of Boise because we don't want to drive all the way to Hells Gate from Shoshone in one day.... any suggestions?
Day3/4 - Hells Gate. We're planning a jet boat tour through Hells Canyon
Day 5 - Somewhere between Hells Gate and Sawtooth [again too long a day all at once]
Is Stanley worth the trip?
Somewhere near Payette Forest?
Rt 95 to 55 to ??? across to 21? Do we REALLY have to go all the way practically to Boise to get up to Sawtooth?
Day 6 - Sawtooth Forest
Day 7 - Craters of the Moon and Migratory bird park

Any suggestions for routes, things to see/not see would be appreciated.

Like Grimes Peak Pass. Can you do that in a Class C RV or are the roads too bad? I can't tell from the maps.
What would be good things to see along the way?

On Day 5 you can break up the drive around McCall. Yes 95 to 55 to 21 is the route.

So, don't go across Grimes Pass?
