Hi Tina,
Are you talking about Inter Island helicopter tours? They are the ones with the "no doors trip. Have no personal experience, but friends staying with us have taken their tour and loved it.

Another vote for InterIsland--do the tour with the waterfall stop(its more $$ but well worth it).

In addition to Inter-Island, there is also a company called Island Helicopter. They are often used in conjunction with timeshare sales pitches. You get a discounted rate (I think it's about $160 for 2 people) for sitting through timeshare presentation. Can't speak for how good the tours are though.

In May, I used Air Kauai. They do a really great job. Inter-Island is also often recommended. They are the only company on the island to fly with no doors.

Inter-Island with no doors is worth all the money. Ask for Luca for your pilot. Kind of scary at first but just keep your body inside of the copter and you should be fine. A one of a kind experience for sure!

They have a tour that makes a stop for lunch at your own private waterfall---simply awesome.

I am strongly thinking of booking. It is just SOOOOOO expensive. The helicopter one is 2 hours as well and $250
