Yes, I realize that. What I actually meant was their two big hubs...Chicago and Denver, although I hear Dulles is just as bad. There didn't seem to be any problems at LAX.

My, my , my. It's airline bashing time, and you can tell who doesn't have much experience flying: it's the whiney people on this thread. Folks, people who rarely fly are always the first to bore you with a horror story, as though UAL sought them out personally just to interrupt their amazingly important lives. I reality, if their planes hadn't been late, they'd have nothing of interest (?) to tell us about. Come on - stop the damned whining, and give Sally a break. I am just stupified that she hangs in their in the midst of all your juvenile compliants and threats, and tries to educate you. Of course, I know that UAL is not that great, and it burns me that US Airways is selling us out in DC, but people like Sally try to make things better, and you lousy oafs just pile on like the cowards you are, and give her a hard time. Shame on you!! No, don't respond to my message - you'll just be wasting more time. Use that time instead to grow up. Life being what it is, it would just be my luck sometime to be stuck in a middle seat between two of you. No doubt just dessert for wasting my time commenting. Ciao

A lot of nerve, freddie boy, assuming that ALL of us who have complaints about UAL don't fly that much. I've been flying them and other airlines for about 20 years now and would put my book of Freq/Fly miles up against yours any day.

UAL has steadily gone downhill and they do not seem to care to do anything about it...As shown from such pompous statements made by you and Sally.

Now go eat your dessert.......

Fred, I don't know who exactly you're so upset with, but I think I posed a legitimate travel question about the labor problems at United. A number of weird and puzzling things happened on this latest trip, and no one (including you) has been able to posit any reasonable explanation, and I am not entirely convinced none of it was labor-related.

Maybe you have a point that delays, cancellations, rudeness and incompetence are so commonplace and routine that they are now boring and don't even constitute a decent tale of woe. But if air travel has deteriorated so badly that people actually expect to be treated shabbily, that is truly sad. I, for one, still cling to the hope that things can improve.
