How about Lani? (pronounced lah-nee) I have no idea what it means, but I know it's Hawaiian. I named my dog Lani.

I have gotten some great suggestions. How do you pronounce Popoki?
Thanks Kay |

Pualani? Mele Kalikimaka!

Roy,
"Kona" reminds of a delightful pair of Burmeses I met long ago. Dark brown, sleek and full of mischief, one was "Mocha" and the other was "Java". |
Thanks Cruisin Tigger for the Kauai Animal shelter web site for Hwaiian names for pets. There were some great suggestions there.

I was going to pass on this one, but after reading Jacqueline's contribution I thought I would keep this thread going.
How about Pila? It means Bill I think. Good luck. -Bill |
From some of these posters unpleasant answers on various threads, I can only think that the holiday stress is building up and they need to let it out somewhere, why not on unsuspecting Fodorites?
So we should give them a break until after the holidays, then they will have to go back to being polite :D I had a new name for the baby, Lani which means Sky :) did anyone already suggest that? sorry if so. |
Burmese cats? Names that Pumpy can't spell? Jackie is right - let this one die !! Please !!
