Hawaiian Hotels??

Looking for advice on a "resort". I want to lay around by a beautiful pool, order drinks, and dip into the ocean (with a nice beach) for about , give or take, $300.00/night. Any advice? I'll go to any of the islands! My priorities are great pool, beautiful beach, and nice views... Not really that concerned with sight seeing. Thanks in advance - LDonnay

Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island should fit your bill perfectly. Nice beach, good pool, good food, spa.

Grand Hyatt on Kauai also good choice. You could probably get a room for under $300.00 with Garden View not Ocean View. right on the beach with Wonderful pools, good restaurants and also good spa.

Have a look at Turtle Bay Resort, on the North Shore of Oahu. Well within your budget, and every room has an ocean view. We have stayed there 4 times, over about 20 years, and while we have been to all the other islands, we still keep going back to TBR. They have lots of oceanfront property, so the feel is like a real casual resort, and not "wall-to-wall" people, like some areas in Hawaii. They have had an extensive renovation in the last few years.
We aren't "pool people", and I am not sure what qualifies as a great one, but the TBR pool location is right near the ocean, and you can often watch surfers going by, not too far from the pool..... as you are taking in a glorious sunset!

I am sorry but did you not post an almost identical question several weeks ago?
