Hawaiian figurines

Looking for Hawaiian Menehune figurines my wife has a small collection of porcelain figures she got from her mother and a set some friends got on Kauai about fifteen years ago. On three trips to the islands we haven't found anything that even looks like them. Went to the Hawaii store in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the store operator said she's had no luck either. We've tried doing a google search and have found one that looks similiar so we're curious if there is anybody else that has seen these and where.

Try looking at the antiques shops. There is one in Honolulu down the block from Ono Hawaiian Foods, which is at 726 Kapahulu. I don't know the name of the antique store, but it is on the same block. They have tons of figurines. Also, there is another antique store not far from Ala Moana Mall that has things like that. I can't remember the name. Guide books will probably have it, or maybe someone else knows.

Or try ebay.

Mahalo Maryann we'll have to checkout the stores. I looked at ebay and there was one that the wife just like she got from her mother. They only had one of the set of three figurines though. I figured we went right by the shop on Kapahulu on our venture to Leonard's Bakery must of had tunnel vision.

Yes, that store is right over by Leonard's It's kind at the corner of a triangle that Kapahulu makes with another street. Sorry I can't remember the name, but it's right by Ono.
