Hawaii Interisland Flights
 

I am flying to Maui in early December & am looking at an interisland flight to Kaui. The cost seems to be $150. return for one person. That seems pretty high to me & am just wondering if it's best to wait until closer to the time or even when I get to Maui. Suggestions/comments?

It won't get much cheaper. The cheapest interisland flights run around $67, one-way if you purchase coupons. I'm not sure if there is a minimum number of coupons or if you could just buy two. Check out some travel agents in Hawaii to buy the coupons. www.bestvaluetravel.com has info on their website.

Try www.hawaii-nei.com or www.fishbowltours.com for interisland flight coupons. They run about $65-70 each way per person.

if you're a united mileage plus member, you can redeem 5000 miles for a round-trip interisland flight on aloha airlines. hawaiian airlines has a similar affiliation with american.

You need to buy a book of coupons to be able use them. there are 6 coupons in a book. It cost us $405 for the book in July. works out to $67.50 per ticket.
