French Quarter hotels w/ balcony
Hi there--
Gearing up for my first trip to New Orleans! There are three of us, ages 18-22. Would like a hotel very close to Bourbon Street (we're here to have fun), with a balcony overlooking a street (not necessarily Bourbon, but we're more interested in people watching then we are in a room overlooking a courtyard.
Price range is under $300 per night. (we'll be there memorial day weekend, so I'm expecting rooms will cost a bit more)
thank you for any reccomendations! So far I'm leaning towards the Royal Sonesta.

You can't go wrong with the Royal Sonesta, but be aware that only a small percentage of the rooms have balconies. Be sure to confirm upfront that your room will have what you want, and be prepared to pay a premium.
Enjoy N'awlins!

I believe the Inn on Bourbon has balconies on the street. I know there are courtyard balconies. The price might be a bit better than the Royal Sonesta, and the likelihood of getting a balcony facing the street might be greater. But hurry. Good luck.
