My wife and I thinking of booking hotel ourself as we hopping around different islands in hawaii. Is this a good ideas? Cheaper? We are planning to be there around 9/20-9/29 and staying on Oahu, Maui, Big island.

Kent, I see you've tried this 3 different ways but not many responses. Maybe you'll get the hang of creating better titles soon, for your own benefit. How much time do you want to spend on the vacation looking for your next hotel? Wouldn't the hotels see you as in need of a room pronto and therefore not necessarily offer you the best rate? Don't know, food for thought. Maybe someone has experience with this sort of thing. Actually I'd like to hear from someone who has done this. Interesting concept.
