hawaii helicopter which island?
 

ok.. we are cruising from honolulu and will stop on maui,kauai,hilo and kona.. where should we do the copter tour??

Tony:<BR><BR>Have only done it on Kauai, but this is a great isle to take the tour, seeing that most of the isle is not accessible, othr than by boat or helicopter. Great views of waterfalls, canyons, forest not otherwise seen.<BR><BR>My suggestion is to rent a jeep on the other isles and do some off road if you really want to see all of the isles.<BR><BR>Good Luck

Kauai is the most beautiful island from a helicopter. It was a total waste at Big Island. Just black lava.

It's not a waste when flying over an active volcano! One vote for the Big Island.

I loved the helicopter ride on the Big Island. I thought flying over the volcano was awesome. You can see the smoke coming out of the caldera. Another vote for the Big Island.

I agree with Jolie........the Big Island is a waste of money for the helicopter tour. I took the 2 hr trip, and I'd say 3/4 of it was somewhat boring, just flying over miles and miles of black lava fields. It gets a bit more interesting when you tour along the ocean and up into the canyons, but that was a very small part of the trip. <BR>I think Kauai is much more worthwhile!

My vote is for Kauai...we have been to both islands and I would say that we loved the helicopter ride over Kauai
