185 days until our 18th trip to the BI--way too long!

37 days before my vacation to come

Bags are getting packed.... ONE more day!!!!! Waahoooooooo!!!!

Wahoo is right! I'm swimming in endorphins right now dreaming about beautiful water, laying on my boogie board and bobbing in the waves. Slathered in sunscreen and in my SPF shirt, of course (from Columbia Sportswear, mddt).

Oh PDX.... I do not even have the normal pre-trip anxiety I always get... It is official. Hawaii is my happy place :)

Isn't that the truth? We were talking about that yesterday. It isn't the same sort of excitement and anxiety that you get when taking a trip to Europe or a big city vacation. This is a peaceful, joyful anticipation of serenity.

BINGO! I am basically packed, and not stressed out about what I packed... my only stressor is the 8 hour flight getting there. Yucko. We are use to flying from California which is not as bad. This feels almost like flying to Europe. But it is worth every hour!
I cannot wait to step off that plane.. it is one place that I seriously have never been ready to leave when it is time to go!

You're almost there by now! The long plane ride is close to over and you'll step outside into wonderful balmy air and feel that spontaneous relief and relaxation. You're only hours from the water.....

Aaah, aloha, everyone! We love this condo and we are all stocked up with shrimp, crab, watermelon and wine. Went to the farmers market and the beach, took a nap, just woke up and I think I'll mosey down to the pool.
