Anyone have feedback on Aston Kaanaplai Shores on Maui and Hilton Grand Vacations Waikiki Tower on Waikiki?
Also any good travel agents to book with?

I assume you are talking about the Grand Waikikian tower at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We stayed there for a week in April and were disappointed. For a tower that had only been open for three months, we thought it was shabby. The furnishings were nice, but already showing wear; the dishers were chipped; and the wood floors were heavily scratched. Be prepared for long waits for the elevators and long walks from the elevators to the lobby. The lobby area is a zoo because the Lagoon Tower lobby has been moved to the GW lobby.

If you're doing a time share trade, make sure you know what you're trading for. The trading values for GW are much different than the other two time share towers (Lagoon and Kalia). We ended up in a backside corner unit and weren't allowed to upgrade. Even on the 23rd floor, the street noise from Ala Moana Boulevard made it uncomfortable to sit on the lanai; not to mention not having any view of the ocean.

I would definitely recommend staying at Kalia Tower instead.

for a travel agent, i recommend one that works with Blue Sky Tours http://www.blueskytours.com/ You can find a local agent from their home page. we've used them several times in the past and been very happy.

Stayed at Kaanapli Shores many moons ago. The one thing to keep in mind is that it's actually on Airport Beach rather than the beach known as Kaanapali where the Sheraton is at the north end and the Hyatt is at the south end.

I don't know those two properties. I always book my own Hawaii trips myself. Are you interesed in a package with air/hotel/car? Are you going to Oahu and Maui both, or trying to choose between them?

Just be aware, that if you stay at Kaanapali Shores, you will need to drive a couple of miles to get to good swimming beaches.
