That green is really heck if you have allergies. When young I despised walking through that green and getting all those sticker things in my socks, and the eyes watering and the nose running and the (seemingly) endless sneezing. Bring on the brown!

I am compelled to point out, since no one else has yet, that San Francisco is NOT Central California! That being said, I drove from SF to the San Joaquin Valley last week and the wild flowers are gorgeous! The hills here in Central California (San Luis Obispo)are beautiful... come on down!
