Have Southwest ticket, where to go?
 

I have a southwest coupon for a free trip expiring on June 16. Where would you go for a quick trip (1-2 days?)

I'm flying out of Phoenix. Want a 2 hour flight at most, travelling alone.

I'd go to (a) the Bay Area (SW flies to Oakland and San Jose), (b) Seattle, or (c) Albuquerque/Santa Fe.

I would go to San Francisco, but you'll have to fly to Oakland.Or, check into going to San Diego.

What about the Reno/Lake Tahoe area?

What about New Orleans?

Oh Joan, so many choices so little time! I'm with San Diego. Bet you'd enjoy the cool shot of ocean breeze.

If it wasn't hot already, I'd vote for New Orleans. But since it is, I vote for Albuquerque.

I confess I've often thought of New Orleans! But I didn't think it would be safe for a single woman....not like I'd be comfortable in bars by myself, so what would I do? has anyone else been to NO by themselves?

Joan, many single women visit New Orleans every year. I see no reason why you shouldn't. Stay in the French Quarter and you'll be A-OK. There are PHX-NO nonstops on Southwest as well!

please tell memore about NO. where should I go alone? Any ideas on great b&bs? I guess I should make this another thread.
