have mercy! one more vegas question, please!
 

ok. we have tickets to "O". but we won't be arriving in vegas until late on the afternoon of the show. i need to get a room at a hotel that is very near the bellagio. we have to be able to check in, change clothes and arrive at the O ticket booth all between 5 and 6 pm. which hotels are "next door" or within a block from bellagio? cannot find this info on any website anywhere. thank you so much! planning this holiday has been a headache.

Looking at the Bellagio from the main road you have: Caeser's Palace on the left(next door), Treasure Island on the right(next door) and further to the right you have the Mirage.

I believe that the Bellagio is in the general vicinity of Treasure Island, The Venetian, Caesars Palace, Harrahs and The Imperial Palace. However, even if it's next door or just across the street, it might take you 10 or 15 minutes to get to the casino next door as they are HUGE sprawling places! Thing is, each hotel and casino also has cab stands where you can get a cab easily and they'll get you where you need to be quickly and much more easily than trudging all the way to the parking lot and taking your own car or a rental and then having to find parking. I go quite often and am leaving tomorrow morning as a matter of fact, and having your own vehicle is great if you want to go off strip or away from downtown, but otherwise cabs or busses are the way to go! By the way, any of the above hotels would be good ones to stay at. Imperial palace has very slow elevators but beyond that it's nice. Good luck and have fun!!

According to this site, on the west side of the street, heading north on the Strip from Tropicana Avenue the casinos in order are: NY/NY, Monte Carlo, Boardwalk, Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, Mirage, and Treasure Island.

On the east side of the street heading north from Tropicana Avenue are: MGM Grand, Aladdin, Paris, Bally's, Barbary Coast, Flamingo, Imperial Palace, Harrahs, Casino Royale, and the Venetian.

In other words, if this site is correct, Bellagio sits between the Boardwalk and Caesar's Palace, and directly in front of Bally's. Hope this helps!

The Monte Carlo Hotel connects to The Bellargio by tram. You will be there in a matter of minutes. You did not say when you were going to Las Vegas, but I just received a promo from them for rooms. I think I have deleted the message, but you might try their web site or call them, as they had good rates for May, I believe.

If I am standing in front of the Bellagio, to my left across the street is Ceasars, next to that is the Mirage, next to that is Treasure Island.Across the street from Treasure Island is the Venetian.
Back to the Bellagio-across the street is Ballys-connected to Paris..then you have the Monte Carlo right next door on the right..connected by the little tram.
Just remember, these are big blocks, huge hotels.

Bellagio is at least a 1/2 mile walk from Treasure Island. However, it feels like a longer walk because of the crowds.

The closest major hotels are Caesar's, Bally's, Paris, and the Aladdin. By tram, the Monte Carlo connects to Bellagio.

Of these, you can probably get the lowest rate at Aladdin, Bally's or Monte Carlo.

Of course, you might just stay at the Bellagio which will make life that much simpler.

The Bellagio-Monte Carlo tram is closed, closed, closed. Other than staying at Bellagio, I think your next best chance of making the show is Barbary Coast because of proximity and, it being smaller, checkin time should be shorter. If you stay at Bally's or Caesars, you can check in at the airport which will make things quicker. Why not just stay at Bellagio???

You're spending at least $220 on two tickets to "O". That alone suggests you can afford a decent hotel.
Either stay at Bellagio and cut out the hassle, or stay right across the street at Paris or Caesar's Palace.
It will still take you at least 10 minutes just to walk from lobbies at CP or P to Bellagio's ticket area.

And right across from Caesar's is Flamingo if you're looking for something cheaper.
