Has anyone used TRAVELER'S ADVANTAGE?

I've received countless ads to join Travelers Advantage, the club that offers hotels 50% off, flights for less etc. etc. Has anyone ever actually belonged to this club, and is it worth the $59 fee? Thanks in advance for your answers.

In a word: NO! I made that mistake once. I think the plan was misrepresented.

You can find better deals on the internet without the fee. They do promise 5% back if you send receipts after your vacation.

Too many restrictions. Most of these programs stipulate that the property or airline doesn't have to offer the discount if they're nearly sold out, on blackout dates, etc. You can drive yourself half crazy checking and double checking all the restrictions, being told 'no, we're almost booked' over and over.

Isn't this the one that offers 3 months free for $1. Well worth it. I did it in 2 different years. Free lodging one nite...not the Hyatt, understand but free and various other discounts in addition. Not sure it is worth $59 though if that's the only way to get it.
Excuse me...posted the previous hurriedly...of course if it costs $1 its not free!
Go with Polly , it's only worth it to get the trial period and use the hotel certificate. BUT make sure to mark on your calander to CANCEL in time. Otherwise you can do better with out it and the hassel.
