has anyone used luxurylink.com?

Has anyone used this website? I made reservations with them, and they sent me a confirmation with different dates than I'd given them and when I called the hotel to check on my reservation, the hotel had me down for a standard room, when luxury link had promised a larger, upgraded room. And now the website says I can't cancel. And, of course, they're closed for the weekend...
Any advice out there?
thanks,
ann

You need to speak to the hotel manager immediately. Did you make the reservation with the hotel manager via e-mail at the end of the auction? That's what the instructions provide. Always leave a paper trail. I've used luxurylink 4X w/o any problems. Fax the hotel a copy of your package. No, you cannot get a refund. I would also call Luxurylink Monday to let them know the problems you're experienceing. Never let a regular reservations agent handle the res, it states on the winning bid page that you need the contact the specific manager provided in the e-mail. Just curious, what hotel was it?

Hi,
this was for a made to order purchase, not an auction, so I was surprised at the mistake.
The hotel is LeMerigot, Santa Monica. I will try to contact the manager directly...
thanks

A Monday morning followup: LuxuryLink corrected the problem first thing this morning.
So looks like a thumbs up for Luxurylink!
