Hi All. Just wondered if anyone had any feeback on Placestostay.com. I have never used it but have seen some great rates on some hotels we like and wondered if it was reliable. Any downsides?? Thanks for your help

I used it for a place in Italy a couple of years ago and didn't have any problems.

I've used them many times, great place to book, especially for non-chain type hotels.

I used it for The Windham Arms in the Catskills. I recieved a brochure from the actual hotel and confirmation shortly after I made the reservation.There was no risk as my credit card was not charged for anything , just to reserve my room.They also, emailed me with the comfirmation. No problems.

I also have used them and my brother, who lives in Scotland, used them to book hotels in San Diego. Neither of us have had any problems.

I recently used Placestostay.com for a reservation in Nice, France. Of all the sites that I checked, they were the only one that offered an available room at the hotel I wanted. My card was charged at the time of booking, but for me, that was great because of the weakening of the US dollar oversea. No problems when I arrived. I did print a copy of my confirmation/voucher, which they asked for. Great room. Would use them again without a thought.

I think they are one of the best internet hotels sites on the Web. I used them for South Beach and was very pleased.
