has anyone stayed at the napa marriot recently?

I have read mixed reviews. is the hotel still under construction? I already got the room through priceline so i can't change. Just want to know what to expect.
thanks,
Mohan

I live nearby and walk in the area. I believe all construction is finished. They have a nice restaurant that we have eaten at a few times.

I attended a conference there last fall and the place seemed very tired. I am not aware of any new construction, but that doesn't mean it isn't so.

We stayed there last summer. I believe some parts were under construction at that time but we were in the newer area. Rooms are decent size, clean- typical Marriott. We chose it b/c we only wanted to stay in Napa one night and many of the B&Bs had a 2 night minimum. We also were on a budget (rather spend the money on food and wine!) It wasn't a charming, romantic Napa B&B but it was a good value, a nice place to spend the night with a decent location.

If you are headed out that way, we would highly recommend Bistro Jeanty (Yountville) for dinner. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
