Has anyone stayed at the Dream Hotel in NYC?
 

Good? Bad? Just okay? Please give me your review.
They are one of a few hotels having rooms available next week for under $300ish.

Have not stayed in a room at The Dream, but we go there often to sit at the rooftop restaurant. Its a beautiful view down Broadway from there. If you are planning on this for New Year's Eve, I would guess The Dream rooftop party would be spectacular. The rooms are small and its a "hip" place, always filled with sort of rock and roll types of people. I think you would be fine staying there.

A quick Travelocity search for next week, however, turned up several other hotels in the under $300 price range.

Given the snow in Europe, you may find more openings than you think.
