Has anyone seen Cavalia?
 

Is it worth 63+ per person?
Looks very interesting.

I saw it last year and was disappointed. Our seats were good; the venue is smaller than I thought it would be and most seats had excellent views. For the money, I thought it wasn't worth it. But then I'm not a real fan of that acrobatic, Cirque de Soleil kind of thing.

I always thought the tent was odd... the tent in Dallas at one time was set up in a mall parking lot in a really dumpy mall. I always assumed it was a Mexican circus or something.
Now the mall has been rennovated and they are setting it up elsewhere.
Anyone else?

I also found it somewhat disappointing (and unfortunately paid more than $63). Then again, I do like the Cirque de Soleil shows, so my expectation level may have been too high.

I'm not sorry I went, because it was something different, and parts of it were quite good. Overall, I would say that it was mildly interesting, and if you have any interest in horses you might enjoy it.

There are none of the usual "acrobatics" in this show since it is not a Cirq show but rather one that has been designed/presented by someone formerly with the Cirque de Soleil company.

It is certainly all about horses and what they can be trained to do.

If you are looking for the usual CdS stuff you may be disappointed.

Sorry I compared Cavalia to Cirque de Soleil. I've never actually seen a Cirque de Soleil show but this is what I imagined one would be like. There seemed to be a lot of people doing somersaults and stuff on the backs of the horses. My sister, niece and I all love horses but we all felt a bit ripped off because of the high price (we paid over $63 too). My niece liked it more than my sister and I but then she wasn't paying for the tickets.
