Has anyone seen "Amour" in NYC?
...and could you provide me with a more sensible review of it than the one in today's New York Times?
Because you would like to have an amateur reveiw as opposed to a professional one?
What is not sensible about the review? I just don't understand what type of review you're looking for. I think it sounds perfectly dreadful unless you're a franco-phile.
Yes, xxx, I would rather have an amateur review because heaven knows there has been much theatre that I (and millions of others) have enjoyed in spite of what the "professionals" thought. The NYT review is an effort to be cutesy and coy; it's insulting.
Erin, some comments are better left unsaid.....like yours!<BR>Go see Amour and leave the rest of us alone!
It was allright - I saw it in previews and it was perfectly fine, but there were some extremely slow parts. Nothing really meorable about it. Many better choices for tourists seeing only one show.
