Has anyone here stayed at Marriott Boston Quincy?
 

How did they find the hotel? Any rants/raves? How far is it from Boston downtown?

To find the hotel, drive about 10 miles south of Boston to the city of Quincy. Not at all convenient for Boston tourists.

Haven't stayed there but I drive by it... as Anonymous notes, it is ten miles south of Boston along I-93, convenient to absolutely nothing. Even if the hotel offers a shuttle to the Quincy "T" station, it is still 30 minutes into the center of Boston.

In other words, avoid it.

If you are not familiar with Boston, 10 miles may not seem like much. However, it can take quite a while to drive that distance from Quincy to Boston. This location would not be my choice as way to avoid high Boston prices.

It's a very nice hotel a short walk from the Quincy Adams stop on the Red Line of the "T". It's about a 20 minute ride on the subway to Downtown Boston.

For attractive rates and free parking, it's definitely worth considering.
