People to People student ambassador programs?

My daughter received an invitation in the mail about this but I want to make sure it's a legit offer.

Their website is studentambassadors.org

Thanks

I topped a prior post on this for you.

Please oh please don't post headers like this! I makes people angry to see such a vague header and then find out they know nothing about your question.

Thanks for the topping the other post

I wasn't sure about it because it didn't have any costs anywhere. I am always weary of anything that promises so much but never has even an appoximate cost.

I guess we will be traveling to the UK as a family instead of sending her. I would not let her go without me anyway, she is too young at 10

The program has been around for at least fifteen years, as I used to get mail about it when I was in middle school. Seemed reputable.

But, no, I wouldn't send a 10 year old abroad alone. It's nice you're going as a family, but why not wait a few years until she'll get more out of the experience? Even though I was a bright kid at 10, all I cared about when I travelled was whether or not the hotel had a TV and I could eat food I liked.
