Has anyone done a private boat charter in Maui?

We'll be a family of 9 (7 adults, 2 kids under 5), in Maui for a couple of weeks. If we wanted to take a boat ride one day (no destination in particular, just to see some coastline and enjoy a few hours on the water), does anyone have a charter boat or company they can recommend? I thought with our sized group we MIGHT be able to find a small boat to charter privately versus an organized sightseeing boat ride.

I've read about them on TripAdvisor. They are very expensive.

You can take everyone on a Molokini cruise and get out on the water for about the same experience at a much cheaper price.

My BIL does a sportfishing charter out of Lahaina every year. I don't know the name of the company he uses, but can try to find out.

Im sure one of the fishing boats could do that, Cuz has low private charter rates. Trilogy takes small groups on Zodiacs to Lanai, very cool but I dont know what their min age is.

My friends who have Malibu at home rented a boat on Maui since taking all of the fam on a boat trip cost so much. They got to go where ever they wanted. They didn't seem to have all that much fun though. When we went there were 4 of us and we went on the Four Winds and had a fab time.
