Has anyone booked a trip or airfare SINCE the attack?

I booked a flight yesterday, will be leaving late next week. In general I am finding prices for the next several weeks to be slightly higher to dramatically higher than normal. I booked another flight for later this winter and it was in the normal range.
But my guess is that in a few weeks, barring a full-out war or more attacks, prices will drop, perhaps greatly. My sense is as someone said earlier, that at this moment, most people will fly only if they have to; saving a couple hundred bucks on a flight is not enough to entice many people to fly right now, so why should the airlines bother?
OP, i did still find some deals on site59.com but maybe they're not running them in all areas. Also, I have found all the websites to be very, very slow.

This may be somewhat off topic, but I just converted a pair of American Airlines e-tickets to paper on the advice of a friend, and discovered that AA has waived the $10 per ticket charge to do so, at least for the time being. The telephone agent told me that having paper tickets wouldn't help me avoid any hassles, but I've heard it would.

Before WTC had made reservations NYC to Albuquerque for Oct. 11. Had not picked up tickets and indicated senior coupons would be used. Had until Oct. 18 to decide if I wanted the tickets. The cost of a ticket was $432 so use of senior coupons were cost effective. Had tried to use miles for the tickets but seats for mileage were not available. On Monday past I called to check price of a ticket and found the price dropped to $278 so use of senior coupons were no longer cost effective. Immediately called to see if mileage could be used for seats on the flight I required and was told they were available. Will be traveling on Oct. 11 and will use award tickets.
