Has anyone been to Chi Tung in Evergreen Park, IL?
I'm in the 'burbs, looking for a place to take a friend for dinner. She's down from Wisconsin for a conference, staying in Burbank. After researching the dining options in the area, I've decided on Chi Tung on Kedzie. I hear it can get pretty crowded, but I've made a reservation. Does anyone have any experience eating there? It sounds good!

Chi Tung doesn't seem to be everyone's cup of tea, but my husband and I have always enjoyed it. The last time we went was with a group for dinner in the Japanese steakhouse of the restaurant, and everyone told me later how much fun they had and how great the food was. Enjoy!

So, reporting back on Chi Tung. We had a nice evening. It was very crowded and very noisy, but no complaints about the food. The Shumai was yummy. My pad thai was also good. Not the best I've had - that distinction goes to the mom & pop place where I first tried Thai food. Alas, they've retired to Florida to play golf, LOL.
Walking in, I was a little concerned to see the size of the crowd, but apparently not too many people make reservations, because as soon as we gave our name we were immediately seated. We did drive past Sesame Inn on the way back to my friend's hotel, but it looked dark and deserted. I think we made the right choice.
