Has anybody been to Molokai?
in Hawaii? Did you love it? What are your thoughts and/or advice? P.S. We're going for our 10th wedding anniversary!

It's pretty quiet on Molokai. There isn't a lot to do there. Have you been to the other islands? Take a read of "Hawaii for less." You'll find it under Joyful Journeys at...
www.senior-infosite.com
Mahalo,
Roy

Hi-My best friend was married on Molokai 2 years ago this week-and we all went for the wedding--she and her now husband love it there and goe every year. They stay on the dry side-and that is what it is-basically Kansas...we couldn't get out early enough sorry to say-it just wasn't our thing...I've heard the tropical side is magnificent-but as the above poster said-there isn't much to do-one store in like 30 miles that kind of thing. if you are looking for seclusion you've found it...

We stayed with a relative at her house on Molokai several years ago. WE did the mule ride - which was great, but we were wiped out for the rest of the day! It's verrrry quiet.

Molokai is very quiet as others have indicated. Not a heck of alot to do but if you want quiet this is the place. One suggestion: you can stay on Maui and take the ferry over to Molokai from Lahaina in the morning and return in the evening. Not too expensive and a way to see the island and not stay there. Rent a car and you can drive all over the island in a day. Did this a few years ago and it satisfied my interest in the island.
