Harrah's Casino New Orleans
Is there a hotel connected with this casino? Also, how is the casino itself...? spending a few days at the New Orleans Marriott, which I think is close enough to walk, but not sure.
Thanks

I believe the hotel is right there. Short walk thru the bar area.
The Marriott is just a short walk up Canal. Pretty safe walk up Canal but like any other city, be aware of your surroundings.
Let the good times roll!

No hotel in the casino, although Harrah's supposedly has plans to develop one in the next few years. The Marriott and Harrah's are only 3 blocks apart. The casino is nice although, as a non-gambler, I can't honestly say if the games are good or not!

Dan: The games are good - my husband (who can't win a bet with me) won $6,000 last year on the quarter slots. Great timing with a daughter getting married soon. I DO love N'Awlins! To 4khansen: Enjoy the city, you'll have too much fun!!

Ooops. Thx for the correction on the hotel @ the casino!
As I now recall, (Abita Turbo Dog amnesia?) we walked thru Harrah's looking for a sports book to place a bet on the NFL games. Was told there wasn't one so we hoofed it down to the Hilton for a few "final finals", hence the hotel memory?
