Harbour Beach Marriott Resort in Ft. Lauderdale
We will be staying at this hotel & I wondered if anyone has advise on good restaurants nearby. According to Trip Advisor the hotel restaurant is pricey & not worth it.
|
True, it is a pricey restaurant. Better deals are available within walking distance or a short taxi ride. The concierge can tell you where.
|
The restaurants are pricey but depending on whom you ask they also get fairly good reviews for food quality, view, etc.
Your best bet is to take either a cab or use a rental car to get to other eating venues since there aren't a lot of those within easy walking distance |
Thanks for your helpfull info.

We stayed there in November and asked the concierge about restaurants in the area. We did not have a car and did not want to pay for a taxi. He gave us a map showing various restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We didn't find anyplace real fancy (which was OK with us), but we did find some good places to eat--Italian, Greek, deli sandwiches, etc.

We really enjoyed our meal at 3030 Ocean in your hotel.
