Harborside Inn, Boston
Has anyone stayed at the Harborside Inn, Boston? It seems to be in a great location.
|
Is it on State Street? If so, I know where it is and it is a good location, but I do not know the hotel reputation - I believe it is also owned by the people who run the Charlesmark Hotel - do you know?
Look on trip advisor and see if there are any reports on it - I say good location b/c if I was a visitor Iwould rather be on the waterfront or in Copley Place/ Back Bay are as my first choices - or the downtown area near the common - but this is not a bad locaiton if you have a good deal - you can still walk many places and get to the T. |
I just mapped it. It's where I thought. I think it is good, but would not be my first choices, but that is preference - if you don't need to be in that area b/c of business, I would see if you can get a similar price range in another location, but that is again, personal preference.
Maybe someone will come on who has actually stayed there - |
we've never been to Boston before, so can anyone recommend a good hotel in a good location? Where should we be...?

We like staying at the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston, can walk many places. Check out the web site.

There are lots of threads here on Boston Hotels and Boston Lodging - type those things in the search bar -
it is hard to say without knowing your price range. Favorites of mine in what I consider good locations for walking/sites/T stops, etc are : Fairmont Copley Plaza, Westin Copley Plaza, Omni Parker House, Clarendon Square Inn (a B & B), Radisson Hotel - here is a recent thread that might help you - it has a lot of hotel info and names - http://fodors.com/forums/threadselec...p;tid=35066855 |
we're looking for something in the north end of Boston, near Faneuil Hall and the aquarium.
