Handlery at Union Square
 

Hello again, I have seen the recent posts about construction at Union Square. I'm staying at the Handlery at Union Square in a few weeks. Is this hotel near all the construction? Is it a mess to get around in that area?<BR><BR>Thanks,<BR>Melissa

nope. construction is limited to the square itself, with trucks entering/exiting the construction zone from stockston st., which is on the opposite side of the Handlery. you won't notice it at all.

I confirm: only 1 square block - the square itself is closed. Everything else, including underground garage and ticket booth is opened. This construction did not affect public transportation. Nothing to worry about.
