Hampton inn or country inn and suites for one night stay

We are in need of a really really clean and new hotel on the way down to Disney. We want to stop around 3 hours from Disney. We are looking a a Hampton Inn in Lake Park, GA(3 years old) and a Country Inn and Suites in Lake City, FL.(2 1/2 years old)
I have never stayed at a Country Inn. Which is nicer? Has anyone ever stayed at either? Any other suggestions? Again, it must be clean and newer.
Thanks.

Hi -- we've stayed at both chains. My husband has stayed at a Country Inn and Suites several times on business, and he really likes them. We actually have reservations at one soon as a family. We've also stayed at Hampton Inns before. Smaller rooms than the Country Inns, but a nice enough hotel. I would just call each hotel directly and ask how old their property is.

Country Inns is my favorite non-luxury hotel. They are very nice and comfortable. I have stayed in them many times. I have stayed in a standard rooom and suites. The suites are two seperate rooms and with the living room having a sofa sleeper. They are clean, spacious and offer a great breakfast.

We have stayed at both the Hampton Inn and Suites and Country Inn & Suites and liked them both but have to say I think I like the Country Inns better. They have all varied a little bit and some have had some country charm to them, while the Hamptons are virtually all the same - at least the ones we where we have stayed.
